Assistant Superintendent – Golf Course (Ref: GCL/ASGC/W)

Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Golf Course Manager to plan, direct supervise and inspect all areas of golf course and grounds
Directly participate in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways and small course improvement projects
Instruct equipment operators on the operation and care of mowing and other equipment; supervises pesticide applications and calibration; Supervises and participates in the operation and maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems
Assist in personnel management and evaluation, employee safety and personnel discipline
Plan and modify daily work schedule based on professional interpretation
Requirements:
University degree in turfgrass management or related field;
5 years or above experiences in golf course management or related field
Strong attention to detail and be passionate about the golf course maintenance industry
Highly motivated, diligent, reliable and able to manage and train staff
Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on continued improvement
Good communication skill
Outdoor work and machine/equipment operation is necessary
Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
Possession of a valid HK driving license
Working Location: Discovery Bay
