The incumbent will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns, promotional events, media initiatives, and branding efforts for Discovery Bay (DB). This role also involves leading digital and social media strategies to enhance DB's positive image and ensure alignment with corporate objectives. Additionally, the incumbent will support marketing initiatives for other Group projects to foster synergy and boost brand awareness both locally and internationally.

Responsibilities:
  • Strengthen the Discovery Bay brand through integrated branding services, including the development of a comprehensive branding strategy that encompasses IP branding, sponsorships, and media relations.
  • Develop brand messages and communication assets for various channels to effectively reach different stakeholders.
  • Plan and lead the team in the execution of marketing /brand campaigns and destination events
  • Lead digital marketing strategies and social media campaigns to enhance online engagement and brand presence.
  • Closely monitor media /KOL trends, lead and organise publicity and PR events, pitch media exposure, conduct intelligence study and analyse findings from post-event and media reports
  • Maintain strong relationships with commercial tenants, exploring partnership opportunities and coordinating promotional activities to boost brand awareness.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:
  • University graduate with at least 10 years relevant working experience, preferably in branding, marketing and corporate communications functions of sizable companies, PR agencies
  • Good hands-on knowledge and experience in consumer, retail marketing, advertising, promotion and event organising
  • Social media savvy and knowledgeable in digital marketing
  • Well experienced in copywriting and brand-building
  • High proficiency in PC operations, especially in Chinese WP, Powerpoint presentation & online applications
  • Strong communication skills, mature, confident, creative, resourceful & able to work under pressure
  • Detail-oriented, capable of handling multi-tasks & meeting tight deadlines
  • A team player & problem solver with pleasant & outgoing personality
  • Strong media relations, presentation, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager – Branding & Marketing

Work Location: Discovery Bay

Free transportation to Discovery Bay will be provided. In fact, it only takes 25 min ride for ferry from Central or 10-15 min ride for bus from Sunny Bay MTR.
