Senior Executive Manager – Design (Ref: HKRI/SEMD/W)

The incumbent will report to the Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Projects. He/ She will manage property development projects in Discovery Bay and Hong Kong urban areas, focusing on the architectural and interior design aspects of clubhouses and residential projects.
Responsibilities :
- Work independently to manage and supervise internal/external project teams on the plans of design activities running with the development of various projects including residential or commercial projects in Hong Kong (Discovery Bay or urban areas)
- Provide direction to various project teams so as to ensure the project is completed on time within pre-approved budget and with good design quality; Supervise and review consultants’ performance as necessary
- Develop design quality, both aesthetic and buildability, in line with the Company’s endorsed design and statutory requirements
- Ensure all disciplinary designs are well coordinated and achieved the expectation of the endorsed design
- Coordinate with various stakeholders both internal and external, including government departments and JV partners, to ensure smooth completion of the assigned projects
- Conduct feasibility studies of any potential opportunities and make recommendation to the Company
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or other related disciplines, plus relevant professional qualifications (e.g. HKIA, HKIE, etc.)
- Minimum 12 years relevant work experience with property developers or consultancy firms
- Experienced in designing of residential, hotel and/ or clubhouse with flair in interior and/ or architectural design
- Familiar in various design development at all stages of works
- Competent in providing both internal or external teams design directions for aesthetic and quality aspect, which can balance the cost factor
- Conversant with local practices, regulations and statutory procedures
- Team player with good interpersonal skill
- Good communications skills in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong sense of responsibility and can-do attitude
- Good computer knowledge in using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
