Reporting to the Chairman of ESG Committee, the job holder is responsible for developing sustainability policy, formulate and implement sustainability framework and manage ESG scheme by closely working with Senior Management team and business unit Heads to enhance internal awareness on sustainability objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, evolve and implement group level ESG strategies and roadmap, and assist different Business Units to refine their target deliverables and initiatives to align with Group level directives and targets;
  • Cooperate with internal & external parties to monitor ESG initiatives, data collection and prepare Group ESG reports;
  • Conduct quantitative & qualitative analyses, compile & consolidate data, and draft reports according to findings;
  • Support different business units with technical insights and expertise relating to ESG initiatives and reporting;
  • Monitor global & local ESG policies and emerging stakeholder trends, and provide advice to the ESG Committee;
  • Support the development of accurate and timely responses to ESG enquiries from key stakeholders;
  • Handle any sustainability projects related to ad hoc duties

Requirements:

  • Degree level education in Environmental Science, Engineering, or any qualifications demonstrating the understanding of ESG;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Sustainability / ESG compliance;
  • Knowledge in ESG data management, optimization, benchmarking and research;
  • Familiar with prevailing local and international ESG standards;
  • Experience in developing and promoting internal / external communication materials on sustainability;
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills;
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is preferable

Working Location: Sheung Wan
