Senior Officer - Insurance (Ref: HKRI/SO-I/W)

This incumbent is responsible for handling a wide range of the Group’s Insurance-related Duties including but not limited to managing the tendering exercise, liaising with Brokers/Insurers and reviewing insurance policies and services contract, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Associate Senior Manager -Insurance in conducting various tenders, renewals or set-up of Group’s insurance programs
- Verify the terms of insurance policies & compiling records of policy documentation
- Prepare Insured values analysis, portfolio reports and administration support of Group’s insurance Programs
- Prepare insurance budgets for all Business Units, calculate insurance premium allocation and process premium payments
- Arrange to provide insurance certificates/ policies documents for Residential Owners, Banks, Government Authorities or Internal Business Units
- Assist to liaise with Brokers/Insurers on policies terms and conditions
- Handle insurance coverage / requirements related enquiries from Internal Business Units and Residential Owners
- Prepare declarations on major and minor construction insurance
- Assist to prepare and coordinate trainings and workshops for Business Units
- Assist to review contracts submitted from Business Units, ensuring contractors are fully comply with Group’s Insurance requirements
Requirements:
- Degree Holder with minimum 5 years’ insurance broking, placement, underwriting and/or claims experience in-house and/or insurance company and/or insurance broker
- Insurance qualifications such as ACII or ANZIIF (Senior Associates) is preferred
- Strong knowledge in all classes of General Insurance coverages
- Ability to work independently, meticulous and detailed minded, able to prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Good analytical & organizational skills
- Responsible, Reliable, Positive attitude, Co-operation and willing to learn
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Strong in Excel and proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint
