Events Sales Manager (Ref: DBRS/ESM/W)

Working location: Discovery Bay, Lantau Island

Reporting to the Director of Event of Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong, the incumbent develop and implement an effective marketing program which differentiates and hotel from the competition, creates quality leads for the Event Sales force, communicates the Hotel’s strengths, focuses on the changing needs of the market and the development of existing and new products in order to attract qualified new customers and retain existing customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel or Tourism Management
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Catering, Event Management, Sales & Marketing, Hotel Operations, Service Industry or Customer Service department.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
  • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
  • Knowledge of Hotel Sales & Catering System
  • Strong background in customer service orientation
  • Creative, outgoing and presentable
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Good writing skills
  • Effective sales & negotiation skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese & Mandarin
